FOMO menyebabkan seseorang merasa tertinggal dan berpikir bahwa kehidupan orang lain di media sosial lebih menyenangkan dibanding hidupnya sendiri. Itu sebabnya, mereka berusaha mengikuti tren demi terlihat bahagia dan keren.<\/p>\n<p>Contoh FOMO, ketika teman kamu pergi ke tempat yang estetik terus bikin review-nya di Tiktok. Kamu bisa aja ngerasa \u201cAnjiiir, cuma gue doang yang belum kesitu!\u201d Itulah yang dinamakan FOMO. Takut kalau cuma kamu satu-satunya orang yang kehilangan momen dan nggak up to date.<\/p>\n<p>Meskipun media sosial banyak memberi informasi, kehadirannya bisa membuat kita kecanduan untuk menonton hidup orang lain dan terobsesi untuk melakukan hal yang sama. Padahal, setiap orang memiliki keadaan finansial dan gaya hidup yang berbeda.<\/p>\n<p>Joy of Missing Out alias JOMO. Mereka yang menganut prinsip JOMO tidak terganggu dengan unggahan orang lain di media sosial. Bahkan, mereka memilih untuk menonaktifkan media sosial atau berselancar di dunia maya secukupnya. JOMO membuat manusia lebih menghargai apa yang ia peroleh di masa sekarang dan menghabiskan waktu bersama orang-orang terdekat.
